Baking a gingerbread house from scratch can take an entire day. And then when you take the time to assemble it, all the pieces fall apart. To avoid an epic mess, use graham crackers and our “glue” icing recipe! Full Recipe
Using a simple kitchen butter knife, follow these easy instructions. Don’t worry about measuring anything. Just be sure that the two ends, the two sides, and the roof pieces match each other, and it’ll all work out! Promise.
Use your butter knife to very gently start to “saw” halfway through the graham cracker. Careful not to press too hard, or you’ll break the cracker. Then, snap the pieces apart.
Droopy Holiday Wreath

Sometimes upcycling can backfire. If you make a wreath out of a wire hanger, you may end up with a sad, droopy mess instead of a perfect circle. To fix it, use a wreath form, found in the floral section of the craft store. It’ll save you lots of time and hassle, and it’s a super easy fix!
- 1 Wire wreath form
- Burlap (or textile of choice)
- Holiday adornments
- 1 Tie the end of the burlap to the metal wreath form to keep it in place.
- 2 Weave the burlap in and out of the wreath, creating loose loops. Continue until you’ve filled the entire wreath.
- 3 Attach a ribbon, bells, or other adornments to the wreath with a hot glue gun. This will add an extra pop of color.
Sad Strawberry Santas

Strawberry Santas can be super cute, in theory. But when the whipped cream melts, they become downright scary. Try these white chocolate Santa hats instead! Just slice off the tops of strawberries and dip them in melted white chocolate to create the bottom rim of the hat. Let them cool on wax paper, and add a dollop of chocolate on the top of each strawberry with a toothpick. Serve chilled.
