Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
In a sauce pan on medium heat, combine sugar, honey, water, and salt. Stir occasionally until the color is a nice, golden brown, then add cinnamon sticks.
Stir in walnuts to coat them in the sticky mixture. Reduce heat to low and continue to slowly stir. Then pour the walnuts mixture onto the baking sheet and spread.
Allow to cool, then break into clusters.
