Stuffed Apple Crisp

Why eat apple crisp out of a bowl, when you can eat it out of a baked apple? Boom, dessert minds blown. Plus, by turning your apple crisp recipe into “delicious crisp being eaten out of an apple” recipe, you’re cutting out all the butter and crust calories. So many wins.

Ingredients

    Apple

  • 1

    tbsp brown sugar

  • 1

    tbsp rolled oats

  •   

    Pinch of cinnamon

Directions

      Cut apple in half and remove core.

      Shake brown sugar, oats and cinnamon in a gallon size Ziploc® bag. Pack mixture into the center of your apple.

    • 3 Cover each half with foil and bake 20 minutes at 375°. Uncover and bake an additional 20 minutes until the apple is soft and brown sugar melted.

Tip

Serve over greek yogurt or top with ice cream for a tasty treat!
