Apple Pie Trail Mix

On snack duty for the whole class? Before you panic, try this snack idea! Trail mix is the one of the easiest things to make, just grab what you have in your pantry, mix it together, and stick it in a gallon size Ziploc® bag. To keep the snack balanced and healthy, try to include something from all these groups: Nuts, seeds, dried fruit and grains. A little extra sweet in the mix doesn't hurt either, but try to make it as unprocessed as possible—like dark chocolate chips.

    Dried apple rings (dusted with cinnamon)

    Walnuts
  •   
    Raisins
  •   
    Sunflower seeds
  •   
    Bran flakes
  •   
    Pumpkin seeds
  •   
    Coconut flakes
  •   
    Pretzels
  •   
    Dried blueberries (or chocolate chips)

Directions

  • 1 Mix ingredients together and serve!
