This holiday season, don’t let all of your focus on holiday dinners and desserts hinder the most important meal of the day. After all, half the fun about Christmas morning is watching the kids fall into a food-induced nap session. With this super simple and uber-scrumptious recipe, they won’t be able to resist.
Whisk together all ingredients until smooth. (Putting everything in a food processor or blender works well for this as well).
Heat a lightly sprayed griddle or frying pan over medium heat.
Soak bread slices in mixture until saturated.
Cook bread a few minutes on each side until golden.
Serve with butter, maple syrup, granulated sugar or powdered sugar.
