Rated 1 out of 5 by ShepherdsLamb from Lid not tight! I bought 2 sets of these a month ago and opened one right away to wash and use. This 1-cup size is useful in our children's snack bag - we have lots of the circle style. I thought this rectangle style would be good for longer snacks like pretzels. But it was immediately obvious that these containers are useless because the lids do not stay on! They open on their own when jostled around in a bag with other things. Spilled snacks = won't be using these any more! I returned my unopened package to the store.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Guru from CATASTROPHIC FAILURE - It wasn't broke so why did you eliminate it? The 8 oz round container was perfect for small leftovers, lunch snacks, sauce, gravy, cup of soup, etc. It was stable - fillable without having to hold and the lid stayed on regardless of the lunch bag/knapsack handling or refrigerator shuffling. BRING IT BACK and you'll corner the small container market ('cuz Glad has also eschewed the small round container). There's a reason many of the useful/appreciated/desired things in our world are not straight-lined. Not everything needs to fit together like a lunchbox jigsaw puzzle and the 8 oz 'round hole' is not being successfully filled with your square (rectangular) peg. And why is 'small' 16 oz if it's round (Twist 'n Loc) but 8 oz if it's rectangular and 24 oz if it's square?

Rated 1 out of 5 by ktownjoyce from new design made me stop buying ziplock I used to rely on ziplock containers... all sizes. Loved them. Used them all the time for fridge, lunches, and freezer. Bought no other tupperware of any type. But the new design is terrible. The lid fractures easily. Breaks in the freezer. Breaks unless you are REALLY careful taking off the lid. Have a flimsy feel. Our guess is that the new design was deliberately made fragile so that people would have to replace regularly. But they've lost us as a customer. We are NEVER buying ziplock again unless they bring back the old design.

Rated 3 out of 5 by azsunshine from Less secure! No place to write! Lower quality! I have been using the new container design since I first saw it at the supermarket. I have used Ziploc containers for years, and the new version is far less useful. The tops are more fragile than the tops on the old design; you can easily shred the edges if you don't remove the top carefully. Furthermore, the tops don't seal as tightly. They don't hold up to freezer use. It's hard to find a place to label the contents. The old design, though a bit more bulky, was much more user-friendly.

Rated 1 out of 5 by vickyp from No Way will I purchase this again! I purchased several of these in all sizes a few months ago during a sale. None of them work right. Lids do not stay on at all. Never so disappointed with Ziploc!!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by MrsB2nd from perfect size/shape bought these at the beginning of the year when we started the 21 Day Fix and needed containers. Perfect size, and bonus that they stack well in the fridge and also squeeze into my boys' lunch kits easily! 2 sets, still going strong after over half a year.
