Spin Out The Crazy

Action-Packed Crafts for Action Hero Kids

Hey kids! Want to make explosive paintings using a lazy susan and a container? Of course you do!

Materials

  • Tempera paint
  • Ziploc® container
  • Paper
  • Squeeze bottles
  • Lazy Susan
  • Tape

Directions

  • 1

Tape a Ziploc® container to the base of a lazy Susan.

  • 2

Squeeze small drops of different colors onto the center of the piece of paper in the container, then place the lid on it (unless you really want things to get crazy!).

  • 3 Spin the lazy Susan super fast and let the centrifugal force make your masterpiece. Huzzah!
  • 4

Tip: Don’t use too much paint, or too many colors, or your spin art will be a brown blob.

Exploding Shaving Cream T ball

Action-Packed Crafts for Action Hero Kids

This hilarious version of water balloon t-ball will get the kids moving and everyone cracking up!

Materials

  • Water balloons
  • Shaving cream
  • Plastic t-ball bat

Directions

  • 1

Fill each water balloon with shaving cream (use shaving cream with a spout for easier balloon filling).

  • 2

Play t-ball with the shaving-cream-filled balloons. Hit hard to watch them explode on contact!

  • 3

Tip: This game is best played at a park with pre-filled balloons. For easy transport that won’t break the balloons (and fill your car with shaving cream), use gallon size Ziploc® bags.
